This Google Earth Project map serves as an interactive way of accessing all the sources of information used within A Sense of Place: Cambridge
Cambridge is a city which is undergoing significant changes, in part fuelled by science-based development. As multiple projects and new developments occur at the same time, it can be difficult and time consuming to keep up to date with what’s going on.
Whilst there is a large focus on regeneration and new construction projects, we have also included relevant policy documents, historical visions and links to information and news articles about key institutions in the city, in order to provide more insight into why this is happening in Cambridge. The different sections are explained in the key on the right. Currently, there are 230 individual links spread across 51 placemarks, Cambridge is constantly changing, so this list of links and placemarks will grow as more developments occur. You can also use the map on your mobile, but will need to have the Google Earth app installed to do so.
